	We are holding a Scholarship Workshop on Tuesday 21 May at 1.15pm in B9. For anyone planning on going to University next year, you should definitely come along to get all the information you need on how to apply for scholarships. Please bring along your device so you can take notes. And you are welcome to bring your lunch.

All	Inter-house READING Competition	RHO
	We have introduced a NEW Inter-house activity. BOOK READING: Therefore it's a good time to start reading more. This competition will run for the year. Every 10 books issued from the school Library to a students will earn a Gem for their house. The Gems will be updated (by placing a house coloured gem in the display book container) every 2 weeks. The house with the most amount of gems at the end of the year wins this competition.
All	Old and new gym open at lunchtimes	KOE
	The old and new gyms will be open at lunchtime on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays this term to be used by any students. The sports shed (small shed outside by the bus bay) will be open to loan equipment out at lunchtime if you need. When in the gyms at lunch, please ensure you have your shoes and socks off, there is no eating and drinking, and make sure you leave on the first bell to get to whanau in time. At this stage the gyms will be closed Mondays and Fridays.
Junior School	Y7/8 Sports meeting on today	BLL
	All Y7/8 students that play sport for Mahurangi college in a seasonal team netball, hockey, basketball, UWH etc or wish to attend any up coming zone days or are attending the AIMS games tournament. You must attend today's sport meeting being held in the new gym at lunch time.
