All DANCE AUDITIONS Dance Room (S1) Wed 24 Feb Lunch WOE
  Auditions for dance groups are THIS WEEK! There are three groups you can audition for - see Miss Woodfield for more information or email dance@mahurangi.school.nz with any questions.

WEDNESDAY: Please come to the dance room at lunch to learn the short audition dance.
THURSDAY: the dance room will be available at lunch for anyone who wants to come and practice the dance.
FRIDAY: you will perform the audition dance in groups of 4-5 - please come to the dance room as quickly as possible at the start of lunch.

YEAR 7s - since you are on camp this week please come at lunch on Monday next week to learn the dance, which you will perform on Tuesday at lunch.

If you don't want to audition for these groups but want to dance - come to Dance Club, every Friday at lunch (starting NEXT week).

 
Senior School Year 13 Meeting School Hall Mon 1 Mar 8.45 YAU
  The first Year 13 meeting is being held on Monday 1 March 2021, Period 1 in the School Hall. Sargeant Ben Smith from New Zealand Defence Forces is our speaker and an invitation to all Year 11 and 12 students interested in a career in the Defence Forces is extended (with permission from their teacher). Compulsory attendance is required for all Year 13 students.

  Do you love a good argument? Are you interested in debating for the school this year? Come along to our first meeting and register your interest at lunchtime, Wednesday 3rd March in E2. Debating is open to Years 9 to 13, there are junior, senior and advanced teams open in 2021. This is a great opportunity to improve your confidence & communication.   Vertical Adventures Auckland Interschools Competition, Sunday 21 March, $20 - 8.45am -11.30am main rounds. Finals completed by 2pm. Take trainers for the speed wall. Harnesses and climbing shoes can be hired $5 each.
A fun honesty based tournament, till the finals.
