Kapa Haka festival on the Hokianga Harbour, Opononi Area School

At the end of term 1 Kapa Haka headed off to Opononi to participate in "Te Taitokerau Kapa Haka Festival”.  With the Hokianga Harbour for a backdrop what better place to hold the festival than Opononi Area School.  The festival celebrates Maori Culture and Mahurangi College Kapa Haka are proud to be a part of it.  We look forward to 2016 when the festival will be held at Otamatea High School.
