Year 10 team win second place in Young Enterprise Competition
A team of 4 Year 10 students took part in the BizNinja competition, organised by the Young Enterprise Trust at The Warehouse Learning centre. The team comprised of Nicole Greaves, Liam Price, William Paterson and Sam Chitty. There were 14 teams and Mahurangi school came second for their innovative product concept of making chairs from waste material. First prize went to Kristin College and Birkenhead were in third place. The event was focussed on “upcycling” to reduce the high quantity of waste generated in the world.
