Ashton Wright, celebrated his 21st birthday at the SLC
One of our special needs students, Ashton Wright, celebrated his birthday on Tuesday 26 February.  He turned 21.  Ashton is well known around the school for his lovely smile and happy nature.  His whanau teacher, Ian Callachan along with all of Green 6 have been very supportive of Ashton over the years and were invited to come and celebrate Ashton's special day with some yummy food.  The head boy and girl and deputy head boy and girl were invited, as well as the Green house leaders.
It was lovely to see Mr Macleod, Mrs Johnston and Mr Vaughan with some other teachers also come and wish Ashton happy 21'st!
The biggest surprise for Ashton, though, was when his friends from AIM came to visit. James Trotter who left at the end of 2011 and Ben Bayer who left at the end of 2012, walked down with their teacher, Lucy Conroy to attend the celebrations.  Ashton was very happy to see his old class mates!
