Mahurangi College held its annual Yr 7-10 Regatta on November 26, 2012, at Algies Bay. As per previous years, the aim of this regatta was for a relaxed, fun day with a series of short races that would provide racing practice for junior members of school sailing teams.

Racing is offered in the following classes:
