Northern IPS Touch Torunament - 12th & 13th Feb
Six students completed their Provincial Touch season on the weekend in Papamoa at the Northern IPS Tournament.
Mako Osborne & Tamara Hagger - members of the North Harbour Under 13 Elite Girls were undefeated in the tournament and took out the IPS by beating Auckland 3 - 2 in the final. This team also won the Tri-Series tournament in January - beating Counties and Auckland.
The North Harbour Under 13 Girls Development Team also had a successful weekend. Mariana Winiana and her team mates put up a good fight in all their games and made good progress throughout the tournament and were awarded Gold Medals for their efforts.
Tonya Botherway had a brilliant tournament in the Under 13 Mixed Team - they finished 3rd and had some awesome games.
Kris Middleton and William Haughey were part of the Under 13 Elite Boys. This team were also undefeated at the tournament and were unlucky to lose in the final against Auckland.
All in all, a great display of talent and skills by some of our younger students
