Trivial Pursuits night was a fantastic fundraiser evening for the Hockey Club

Trivial Pursuits night was a fantastic fundraiser evening for the Mahurangi College Hockey Club. The event was extremely well attended with around 150 participants. The event is run annually to raise much needed funds for the club in order to try and minimise the cost for the students to continue to play. There was also a number of silent auctions run over the period of the evening thanks to our generous sponsors who are listed below. Overall a very fun night was had by all and thanks goes to those parents who are on the Hockey Committee for all their hard work and dedication to organising and running a very successful evening. Thanks must also go to Kerrin and Greg Jamieson of Matakana pub for running and licensing the bar and Wayne Frost for being MC and creating the impossible questions!
Overall the event raised over $5000 for the club and was a great success.
