Ex All white David Mulligan gives the Sports Academy insights into professional sports careers

Ex all white David Mulligan spoke to the senior sports academy for a 20min question and answer session last Thursday 15th June. He gave some valuable insight into his life as a professional football player including going to the world cup in 2010 and playing against $30 million players. He talked to our athletes about resilience, mental toughness, routines and overcoming failure. One of his messages which was especially pertinent was not dwelling on poor performances as it wont help their performance. Athletes should learn from poor performances or mistakes but try to forget them and focus on improving.
