Sports Academy 2017

Congratulations to the following athletes who have been selected for the sports academy for 2017. Selection was based on achievements in 2016. The junior academy is a new initiative this year with the aim of developing better leadership, character and ultimately sporting performance.

The senior academy has been well lead by Mr Frost in the past and thanks for his contribution to this programme. This year Mr Ganley is running the programme and the year has started well with regular weekly meetings and a highly successful elite training camp where fitness testing, nutrition, team building and a highly knowledgeable new board member Dr Ihirangi Heke discussing sports psychology.
