North Harbour Zone Girls Football
A very successful day for our for our skilled year 8 team and a great experience for our up and coming year 7 team, both teams playing under brilliant winter playing conditions. Our year 8 girls finished a very credible 3rd overall, a shared title with Takapuna. Well done girls, a fantastic result to be proud of! Thanks must go to the mums who looked after the team on the day. Our year 7 girls were not as successful and could not promote out of the pool rounds despite the efforts of the two excellent goalies. The team was made up of a group of young aspiring football girls who all had a courageous but fun tournament. Thanks to Mrs Drost who facilitated the team on the day. Well done girls on a solid effort.
