Mahu Runners do very well at Auckland SS Road Race Champion

On Tuesday the 22nd September, Lucy Rowe (Year 9) and Sam Cadwallader (Year 11) both competed in the Auckland Secondary Schools Road Race Championship at the Bruce Pulman Park at Takanini.

Amongst a large field of runners, both Lucy and Sam did their school extremely proud! Lucy placed 7th in the 3km race with a time of 12.23 and Sam placed 11th in the 4km race with a time of 13.51. Congratulations to both runners on a great race and a big thank you to Mrs Christine Cadwallader and Mr Sandy Rowe for getting Sam and Lucy to Takanini and supporting them!
