Flute students busking outside New World

At the end of Term 1,2015, Trudi Lile, itinerant teacher at Mahurangi college, took a group of flute students to busk at New World Supermarket in Warkworth. Their music was well-received by the passing shoppers who contributed to their fund for a holiday outing.

The students played a range of music from jazz to classical, demonstrating their skills in ensemble playing and solo improvisation.
