Underwater Hockey flew to Wellington on Thursday 1 September for an intense 3 days of competition. The Senior Open team fought valiantly as one of the youngest, while our girls came away with the Silver Medal for the tournament. They really made Diocesan fight for that gold, though!! more..
Over terms 2 and 3, the Junior Girls' and Junior Open Underwater Hockey teams have been competing in the Auckland Schools' Tournament. Both teams have been rewarded for their efforts with the Junior Girls winning a Silver medal and the Junior Open a bronze medal. more..

Underwater Hockey continues to be a strong feature at Mahurangi College. Year 13 student Forrest Axford, was selected to compete for the U19 New Zealand men’s team at the CMAS Underwater Hockey World Championships in Barcelona where they won gold after a strong 6-1 victory against France. more..
