Year 8's Colonial Days Experience
On 1 November 2016, students were encouraged to wear clothes from the period and spent the whole day doing typical school activities from the time, e.g.. marching, playing separate boys and girls games, writing with quill and ink, singing “God Save the Queen” in a very formal assembly, etc. Everyone entered into the spirit of the day and things were taken most seriously, Victorian style.
