Mahu Games held Friday in the Library

We have all been following the events in Rio and so inspired we decided to stage our own Mahu games. This fun event, organised by two of our library prefects, took place in the library at lunchtime. Students competed in a variety of games, some taking considerable skill such as holding a piece of spaghetti in their mouth while trying to thread it through some penne pasta. Uncooked pasta of course!

Other games were the ping pong scoop, bowls, the paper cup shuttle, quoits and the lollie toss. This last one was fiercely contested with a final play off where Nasia (Year 9) beat our PE teacher, Mr Ganley by 2 points.

Over 100 students took part and many asked “Can we do this again!”
