Mahurangi Mixed Touch team get to the finals at the Touch Nationals
The 2015 New Zealand Secondary School Touch Championship was held on the 11th – 13th December 2015 at Bruce Pulman Park, Papakura​. The Mahurangi Team played well on the first day to come second in pool D. They then went on to come top of the Division 1 Section 1, beating Massey 5-2, St Andrews 4-3, and Mt Albert 6-5. They played Tokoroa, the runners up from Section 2 in the Semi winning 4-2 setting up the final against Whanganui. After initially being 4-1 down early on, this brave young team fought back to finish 4-5 down in the final. What a great effort for this young team| Thanks to all the supporters for helping make this the best result ever for our mixed team at Nationals.
