Congratulations to all our Year 7 & 8 Swimming Zone Day Competitors
<p>Congratulations to all our Year 7 & 8 Swimming Zone Day Competitors who competed at Northern Arena on the 19th of March 2015. With nearly a full field of Mahurangi College swimmers taking part; after qualifiying at our own School Swimming Champs a few weeks ago, the team was set for a action packed day! The individual races were exciting to watch and it gave all our swimmers an opportunity to shine!</p>
<p>Our relay events brought the “team spirit factor” and all our teams did an outstanding job in finishing in some pretty nail biting and close races. Congratulations to Zali, one of our Year 7 Swimmers, who finished in second place for her 50m Freestyle event, which has earnt her a spot at the Auckland InterZone Champs, being held next Wednesday! All the best for next week Zali – we are all right behind you!</p>
