Y7&8 Golf Zone Day
The Y7&8 Golf Zone Day took place down at Takapuna Golf Course last Thursday. Our boys had a fantastic day out, however the weather was a bit temperamental - we had hail, sun, rain and I am sure sleet! We played our first 9 holes and had a great run. The next 9 holes seemed to be a bit of a slower round (due to taking shelter in the trees from the weather). There were a lot of laughs, a lot of rest stops, Mama duck and her babies walking on the fairway and some fierce competition. We finished up 10th, which the boys were very pleased about! “We cant wait till next year Mrs Daysh", they all said, in amongst the yawns on the way home!
