| This course offers four internally assessed unit standards. The assessments are open book and require the students to prepare answers relevant to the unit standard being studied. This is not a university approved subject. |

| Students will gain knowledge of Australia and the Pacific Islands as tourism destinations, investigate sites significant to Māori tourism and delve into the contribution of tourism to economies. |
