The course builds on what is taught at level 2. Students develop their own creative and conceptual direction and explore a wide range of both digital and analogue photographic techniques and processes to create a cohesive portfolio of work. The course prepares students for tertiary study in the creative fields.

This programme will get students to generate and develop ideas based on 3 assessed areas:

3.2 Use drawing to demonstrate understanding of conventions appropriate to photography.
3.3 Systematically clarify ideas using drawing informed by established photography practice.
3.4 Produce a systematic body of work that integrates conventions and regenerates ideas within photography practice.
