    Prerequisites:
    Level Two Maori or by teacher in charge approval.
    Learning Strategies:
    Students will be expected to be proactively involved in the course by using knowledge and skills interactively in and outside the class room environment. A range of learning resources and activities will be used.
    Main Areas of Study:
    Te Reo me nga Tikanga Maori. The ongoing development of skills in the area of reading, listening, speaking and writing.The study of cultural aspects such as customs, arts and waiata will be an integral part of the course.
