| Approximately $50 for workbooks. A Casio fx 9750 GIII (or fx9860 GIII) graphical calculator is essential. Graphics calculators can be hired from school for a cost of $50 for the year. Students wishing to hire a graphics calculator must fill out the form available at student services. | ||||

| To be considered for this course, students must have completed the L2MAC course and generally be working at Merit level or higher. Students who haven't gained this level of achievement are likely to struggle in this course. Students who do not meet the stated entry requirements may still be considered following consultation with the Head of Faculty. |

| Students will learn through the utilisation of a range of different learning strategies that include: investigations and discovery learning, group work, directed teaching, practice tasks, regular formative and summative assessment.
