| Approximately $25 for workbooks. A Casio fx 9570 graphical calculator is recommended. Graphics calculators can be hired from school for a cost of $30 for the year. Students wishing to hire a graphics calculator must fill out the form available at student services. |

| Students who have historically been successful on this course have come to us with a minimum of 14 course credits at Level 2 with merit or higher for Level 2 'Algebra' AND 'Calculus' AND one of 'Trigonometry' or 'Graphs.' Students who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for this course as the chance of success without meeting these prerequisites is very low. |

| Students will learn through the utilisation of a range of different learning strategies that include: investigations and discovery learning, group work, directed teaching, practice tasks, regular formative and summative assessment. Students of this course must commit to completing regular homework. |
