Learning Strategies: | ||||
This course will immerse students in a variety of art design skills and processes, encompassing digital photography and multimedia. Centered around addressing contemporary global and social issues, the course aims to ignite creative thinking. Students will gain hands-on experience with digital art creation and photographic manipulation using Adobe Suite programs, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom. They will explore diverse media, including wet, dry, and digital techniques, learning to generate, develop, and complete a range of design projects. The curriculum will build upon the skills developed in years 7-10, with a strong emphasis on the creative process. Throughout the year, students will engage with various visual art themes that align with industry standards, preparing them for future endeavors in the design field. |

Students will learn how to generate and develop independent creativity and building skills, which are transferable to other disciplines across the arts and other subject disciplines. Students will learn how to develop company branding and identity, making interactive design for branding and promotional material. |
