| Students are expected to be able to complete and maintain an accurate set of readings, notes and exercises within their various workbooks related to the unit standards. This will be supplemented with practical exercises and field trips. |
| Main Areas of Study: |

| The focus will be on students understanding and developing their knowledge of exploring career options and producing a plan for future directions. They will learn how to time manage and develop strategies for managing stress and the essential work place skill of effective communication and working together to achieve an objective. Added to this will be gaining an understanding of the New Zealand personal tax system and tenancy agreements. |
