We start the year with a two day leadership camp where theoretical knowledge is applied and assessed in an outdoor education environment. In term two emphasis is on how our body adapts to physical training, including designing, implementing, and evaluating a training programme using our new fitness centre. In term three we learn about motor skills and psychology in order to complete a skill training programme. We finish off the year doing a practical performance where students get assessed in a sport of their choice. Throughout the year a high level of social responsibility is expected, and students are assessed on this behaviour demonstrated in practical lessons.
