    Main Areas of Study:
We start the year with a two day leadership camp where theoretical knowledge is applied and assessed in a practical, outdoor education environment. In term two emphasis is on how our body adapts to physical training, including how to design and implement a personal training programme and the associated changes that would be expected to see. In term three we learn about motor skills and psychology in order to complete a skill training programme. Assessment includes reflections on the programmes undertaken. We finish off the year doing a practical performance where students get assessed in a sport of their choice. Throughout the year a high level of social responsibility is expected, and students are assessed on this behaviour demonstrated in practical lessons.
