Discussions and debates will enable students to comprehensively examine the main causes and consequences of the events studied.
    Main Areas of Study:
The theme for year 12 history is Beliefs and Ideology. Students will begin by investigating the events that were part of the Cold War period and why that came about. This will enable students to understand the key events especially the creation of the nuclear bomb. Students will also investigate NZ's reaction to this nuclear period before looking at our entry into the Vietnam war and its subsequent consequences.
