    L2DRA L2 Drama 18-22 credits Yr: 12
    4 credits externally assessed and 14-18 credits internally assessed.
    Costs:
    The students will be required to meet the cost of attending at least one professional theatre performance that includes ticket prices and transport costs (approx. $40 per performance). Others may be offered or recommended. Students will also be expected to provide materials for costumes and props where appropriate.
    Prerequisites:
    Achieve 12 credits in Level 1 Drama or by consultation with the teacher in charge of drama.
    Learning Strategies:
    Students will research, devise, perform, analyse and evaluate drama in a range of contexts. Assessment is largely based on practical work and in many cases, students can submit evidence of their learning, orally. They will view professional theatre performance and may be involved in working with professional theatre companies and personnel.
    Main Areas of Study:
    Developing an actors use of drama techniques through the performance of short scripts.
    Performing a significant acting role in a scripted production.
    Devising an original drama that communicates a clear intention.
    Discussing how drama aspects are used within live theatre.
