Achievement in Year 11 Music or equivalent. Students should be in their fourth year of learning an instrument (including voice). HOD Music approval required. | ||||
Learning Strategies: | ||||
Level 2 Music builds on the creative skills developed in Level 1, offering students the chance to grow as performers, composers, and musical thinkers. You’ll work towards a solo performance portfolio, collaborate in group performance, and create original compositions using music technology. You’ll also explore a music notation application and deepen your understanding of two contrasting musical works through listening and analysis. This is a hands-on, practical course where you’ll be supported by specialist tutors and have access to music software, recording tools, and rehearsal spaces to bring your ideas to life. |
