    Prerequisites:
    Level 1 Digital Technology is recommended but not required.
    Students should demonstrate strong self-management skills, a willingness to work independently, and an interest in programming, game development, and digital technologies.
    Students are encouraged to have access to a Windows or Mac laptop.
    Learning Strategies:
    This course builds on the knowledge and skills developed at Level 1 and places a greater emphasis on planning, problem-solving, technical complexity, and project ownership.
    Students will continue to develop games using a game engine and coding, while applying more advanced programming techniques and development processes.
    Students may work individually or as part of a development team, specialising in areas such as:
    - Lead Programmer
    - Gameplay Designer
    - Environment Designer
    - UI/UX Designer
    - Tester and Quality Assurance
    - Project Manager
    Students will experience workflows similar to those used in professional game development studios.
    Main Areas of Study:
    Students will design, develop, and evaluate a sophisticated game solution that addresses a clearly identified purpose and end-user need.

    - User experience design
    - Game balancing and mechanics
    - Project planning and management
    - Testing and iterative refinement
    - Collaborative development practices
    - Documentation and evaluation
    Students will investigate game development concepts, conduct research, develop design proposals, and create a substantial game project demonstrating both technical and creative capability.
    The course provides strong preparation for Level 3 Digital Technology and tertiary study in software engineering, game development, information technology, and computer science
